I took a little bit of a hiatus from blogging after Bowen was born. It was partly because my computer broke and partly because life is so much busier when you go from one kid to two! Oh and there's also the thing about moving into our first house a couple weeks before I was due.
So here we go.
I won't bore you with the details of my labor. I was a week late and had to be induced. The weeks leading up to my due date were emotional. Poor Bryce had to deal with me again as my due date came and went and still nothing happened in the week to follow. I'm sure the pregnancy hormones didn't help, but I wanted so badly to have a natural birth experience and not have another c-section that I'm sure I cried every day. God definitely answered my prayers! On March 6 I had a VBAC, which means I didn't have to have a c-section like I did with Lahna. Labor and delivery hurt. It hurt like hell. But it hurt so good when they laid my baby boy on my chest right after giving birth to him. Unlike when I had Lahna and cried scared, drugged up tears, this time I cried happy tears!

I was sure I was having a girl so I was shocked when my doctor told me it was a boy!
Beautiful baby boy!

Lahna and Bryce went to get Bowen some clothes and came back with a rattle in the shape of a football. Bryce said Lahna picked it out but I know who really did ( : |

Love him. |
