Crazy Aunts!

The things that happen while I'm off running errands always amaze me!  Here Katie and Tara have decided Lahna should "drive" the car...she's obviously a natural.



Tyler is super pumped about Lahna's driving skills.



But wait...

What is that in the road?



Concerned, Lahna stops the car...

                                                         But don't worry it's just Henry!!!





And the fun continues as Katie and Tara entertain Lahna...but watching them is way more entertaining

Yes that is a nerf dart!

And Lahna's talents now include drinking her sippy cup by using her feet...I'm one proud mom!

I may be biased but Lahna is pretty cute.  Cute or not I have a feeling modeling just isn't her calling, and not because she won't have the body type (just being realistic here) the camera just seems to bring out her best faces, and yes I do mean best!

Independence Day!

4th of July!!!

The 4th was full of fun, family and friends! We spent most of the weekend relaxing by the pool.  It was fun to see family and friends we don't always get to see ( :

Before going to the carnival where lots of money was spent trying to win Lahna stuffed animals...silly boys!

Urbandale's 4th of July parade was hot but fun!  For the past couple of years we haven't had candy thrown at us because we are no longer kids...but this year we finally got candy, one of the perks of having a baby!!!

I love me some tootsie rolls!

And here is Lahna eating her first piece of candy...a lollipop! Thank you Uncle Austin it was fun when I took it away and she screamed bloody murder, good thing she's easily distracted.
