Life definitely changed since I had Bowen. The first 6 weeks was pretty rough. I remember one morning after getting no sleep I drove them over to my mom's and "asked" her if she would watch them so I could have some alone time. I spent awhile wandering the aisles at Target. When I got back to my Mom's I realized I had needed a little bit of time to breathe but that I also missed them.

Lahna decided that Bowen was thirsty while he was napping. I always seemed to find toys sitting on him, especially on his head.
Right after Bowen was born and Bryce and I weren't getting any sleep we found we could fall asleep anywhere. Here's proof...

Lahna reading to Bowen. It was so sweet for a few minutes until Bowen grabbed a fistful of Lahna's hair which ended with both of them screaming and crying.
Between nursing, dishes, laundry, making lunch, making snacks, and still remembering to breathe I felt like I was not giving Lahna enough time where just the two of us hung out. We started going on dates...she likes to say "Girl date!" It didn't have to be anything elaborate or long. Just time for the two of us. She loves to go to the library and pick her own books, Panera for the mac & cheese and frosted cookies, Orange Leaf for ice cream. One afternoon we went to see Tangled and Belle. She loves princesses and was in heaven to meet them in person!
Aunt Tara took Lahna to the playplace at the mall so I could get some time with just Bowen, and sneak in a nap!

While the kids were outside playing Bowen took a great nap inside. It took everything in me not to lay down and snuggle with him.
One day while Bowen was napping Lahna must have snuck into the room with my camera. Here is the evidence... Where was I, you ask? I'm really not sure. I didn't even realize any of this had happened until I saw the pictures on my camera weeks later.
Lahna must have been on a camera kick. I found 20 pictures of Mr. Bear and a 5 minute video of Lahna walking around with Mr. Bear while having a conversation.

Lahna loved to take Bowen for walks in her doll stroller. He loved it too, which was pretty great since they both stayed entertained for awhile.
My mom set the sprinkler up in her front yard. The kids loved running through the water.
