Lahna the cat

Lahna has decided she is now a cat....

She eats cat food:

She drinks from a bowl on the floor:

Here she's cleaning her "paws"

She lays on the dog:

She perches on the couch and looks out the window:

Energizer Bunny!

Lahna can not stop moving.  She is continually crawling and standing up on everything she sees, which has been hazardous.  The picture below is the only picture I've been able to take where she is sitting still.  My days of getting anything done are over.

The other day I'm in the bathroom getting ready when I hear Lahna yelling from the living room.  When I go see what the problem is I find she has crawled under her exersaucer and is stuck.  Oh Lahna.

The problem with standing on her exersaucer is that it is very wobbly and has caused a number of falls.

Don't worry it hasn't seemed to stop her from doing it over and over again.

And if that's not bad enough she won't even sit/lay in the bathtub anymore.  Now she thinks she can stand up in the bathtub even though I told her it's slippery and she could fall....she just never listens.

Look at that face....what an attitude!



And now that she learned she can go up the stairs she won't stop climbing them.  The minute I turn my back she's already half way to the top...good thing we don't have any stairs in our apartment or I'd really be in trouble. Here she is crawling up the stairs to see her best friend Mr. Bear!

Just keep swimming

So far this summer we have spent most of our time outside swimming in the pool!

Lahna has a baby pool at Aunt Vicki's, my moms, and we've also been to the 38th Street wading pool!

Taking a drink from the pool...hopefully she hasn't peed in it yet.

In the fountain at the wading pool...the whole time we were there she wouldn't stop looking at the fountain.

Dory's song from Finding Nemo is what I imagine Lahna is singing in this video just the high-pitched, dare I say it, semi-annoying version....

Playground

Lahna loves being outside!  Most of the time when she's fussy all we have to do is walk outside with her and she forgets what she was unhappy about.  There's so much to look at and she is mesmerized by cars!

Fun with Zeke!

A few weeks ago we went over to my Grandma Lila's house to hang out and see Ezekiel.  He was such a good baby while we were there! Lahna was very interested and just had to get a closer look...

I couldn't get a good one of him smiling but he is a very smiley boy!

Swimming & Smoothies

Last week the weather finally was nice enough for a day of swimming.  Lahna, Aunt Tara and I went out to Jamie's to swim with the twins.  Rachael and Zeke came swimming too!  Lahna loved the pool and didn't want to get out.  We made fruit smoothies and caught some rays...life is good!
