After swimming at the YMCA Lahna is always so tired....

We found out, just in time, that Lahna can no longer be left unattended in her swing unless she is strapped down and this is why....

After the swing incident (above) Lahna informed us she wants to be in the circus...instead of being dissapointed about her not wanting to be a surgeon and support us in our old age we decided we would help her work on her dream.  We'll just have to have more kids...

Good parenting....I think so!

Today is Aunt Katie and Grandpa Wes's Birthday!!!  Katie is 19 and Wes is....29?
She wanted to make them a card to celebrate their birthday....

Tonight we're going to the Olive Garden for Katie's birthday and hopefully Lahna will be on her best behavior.  Then she gets to go to Aunt Vicki's house while Bryce and I go listen to Eden jam out at Mars Cafe.

This past weekend was State wrestling...Lahna had team spirit and was cheering for Grandpa Wes at Omaha Burke.  They took 3rd place with two champions. Good job Justice, Jake and of course Grandpa!!!

I usually don't take pictures of Lahna and me together because it's hard to get her to look at the camera...but this is the best I could do.  As you can see from the following pictures we need to work on our communication.

For the past 7 days Lahna has not pooped.  The poor girl is a grumpy gus about it and I would be too if I was in the same prediciment.  So the doctor told us to give her watered down apple juice (which she gulped down without thinking twice about it not being milk) but it still hasn't worked...I'll make sure to keep you updated since I'm sure you're dying to know when Lahna will poop next!

Before we left the house on Wednesday Lahna wanted to try on her scarf..."just like the kitty on her shirt" she said.  She was all smiles but I had to take it off before we left because she kept licking it and I was afraid she would end up coughing up a matching sweater.

That night Lahna got to meet my Wednesday Night Live girls at church.  They loved her! I never knew how much middle school girls loved babies...of course until they start crying, but Lahna being the angel she is didn't fuss one bit.

Most little girls go through life with adorable nicknames like princess, sweetie, lolipop? Okay, so something cute but Bryce has started calling Lahna....Lenny.  Now, he doesn't call her Lenny all the time but if I have her in an outfit and she looks like a boy (sans bow) he thinks its "cute" I'm just hoping she doesn't wake up one day with a split personality but on the bright side if we never have boys Lenny will do just fine!

Lahna loves when you lift her airplane style and I love doing this except when she spits up all over my face...then not so much.

Lahna still can't keep her pacifier in her mouth she has a problem with sticking her tongue out and spitting out the pacifier.  So when she wants it you have to sit there and hold it with your finger....really defeats the point of the pacifier.  Instead she eats her bear and then screams because it's not really what she wants, although either is the paci.

Lahna started crawling on her back.  She continually pushes off with her feet, arches her back and propels herself forward or maybe its backward.  This new trick of hers is not so fun when trying to change a dirty diaper.  So in today's world I figured I should censor the following picture...I mean if it's good enough for MTV it should be good enough for Lahna.

UNO wrestling

On Sunday we drove to Omaha for a UNO wrestling meet and to see Uncle Austin get his senior award!   She slept the whole way there and back - she sure loves roadtrips.  Lahna will never wrestle but grandpa said he will still teach her the basics.  Can't you see Lahna, when she's older, jumping out from under the table and double legging Uncle Austin or Uncle Henry.  As long as they don't fall on her she might have a fighting chance.
