He has risen!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. 
We had lots of fun but missed Bryce's family this year.

We live in a world where a resurection has happened...how exciting is that!!!  One of my favorite songs right now is Matt Maher Christ has Risen which is a perfect song to celebrate Easter.

Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs with my mom and Jamie and Marcus came over with the twins...the house wasn't quiet the whole night!  Lahna opened her basket which consisted of the bunny ears and cool pink boots which Tara and Katie obviously had to put on her and make her pose for some pictures ( :

On Sunday we went to my Grandma's house....

Lahna was obviously born with Bryce's skin tone or maybe she's a vampire (yes I read the Twilight series)...only time will tell.

Lahna has decided she wants to crawl, she must have important places to go. 
She's not quite there yet but it won't be long...

Hallelujah!

After a few nights of no sleep and days pulling my hair out, Monday night Lahna finally slept from 10:30 pm to 7:30 am.  Now if I did the math right...that is 9 hours of sleep, that's right 9 hours!  And boy did I need it because these last few days have been really hard.  My Grandma told me never to pray for patience because God will give you something to be patient about, and boy should have listened to her.  In hopes of a docile baby I tried everything from barking like a dog to walking our apartment hallway for hours at a time, but all was futile.  Lahna's teeth hurt so bad that even though she was starving she couldn't nurse without screaming, I knew when she refused food something was very wrong.  So we tried rice cereal and voila...a miracle! 

She wanted an apple for dessert and since she said please we let her!

The next day we were both in such great moods, that's what a full night of sleep will do for you, that we were all smiles.

The Wolfpack

Lahna finally got to meet her twin cousins last week and she was so excited she drooled all over them ( :

Lahna gave a speech when meeting the boys and here is what she said...
"You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-baby wolf pack. But when my aunt brought Ryan home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack... it grew by one. So there... there were two of us in the wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then Ryan joined in later. And one week ago, when Mom introduced me to Jackson, I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added another baby to my wolf pack.  Three of us wolves, squirming around the crib together, in Ankeny, looking for milk and shiny toys. So tonight, I make a toast!"
