Broken Bones & Ponytails

Lahna is at such a fun age!  It's amazing how much she is learning all of the time.  Lately she has been putting random things in baskets or buckets and carrying them around with her.
It seems to make her happy ( :

Old CDS, tape, facewash, Sun-in, a radio, lotion, and a ping-pong ball.
I told you it was random!

Wow...

Much better!

She makes the best faces ( :

Two weeks ago there was a little accident.  Someone (I'm not saying who because I know they feel so bad already and it could have been anyone!  We still love them oh so much!) was carrying Lahna down the stairs and slipped.  When they fell Lahna's leg was caught behind their back.  Of course she cried and refused to stand up for the rest of the night.  The next day she crawled around and when she stood up she had to hold on to something.  I took her to the doctor where they took an x-ray which showed she had a green stick fracture in her fibula.  In order for it to heal right she had to get a cast.  At least it's pretty pink ( :  She only has to wear it for four weeks, so now we only have one week left!  At least it's the middle of the winter because trying to keep her out of the pool would be really hard.

Resting her leg on her crib.

Stylin'

Finally enough hair for a ponytail ( :

Dolls and football!!!
The first day she had the cast on she was quite pitiful.  She crawled around looking up at me like it was the worst thing in the world.  It made me feel so bad for her.  The second day she figured out how to walk and now she practically runs in her cast.  The other day she climbed up a kitchen chair and took a seat.  If she can do that with a cast on I'm going to be in trouble next week when she gets her cast off!
Day two...already walking!
