Girl Time!

A couple weeks ago Bryce, my mom, and Tara went to Colorado for Rocky Mountain High.  Lahna and I stayed at my mom's house with Katie and we threw some crazy parties (not really though).  While Dad was away Lahna and I had lots of fun playing...not that we don't have fun playing when Dad is around but we had lots of girl time!

I went next door to my mom's neighbors house to borrow a broom and low and behold she had two extra chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter cookie dough filling...and they did not disappoint!  I would have eaten both of them but out of love I gave one to Katie.  I'll just have to borrow things from Kay more often!  She also made my beautiful wedding cake (see picture below)...you can check her out at http://kays-cakes.com/

As you can see from the following pictures Lahna was a big help in the kitchen...

So all in all we had a good week while Dad was gone, but boy were we happy to see him again.  I needed a break from her and I'm pretty sure she needed a break from me!
